I haven't stopped or forgot about openSway, I just got swamped at work with developing a new platform for our system. I hope things will slow down next week so I can get back on it.
I am looking for anyone that would like to help with this project, maybe get a nice little project moving along here, so if interested shoot me an email (wcope(at)frenzylabs(dawt)com.
Talk to you soon!

And It Starts
Well, it has been started, Open Sway has official be put up on google code and looking forward to getting it to a point for production use. Currently looking for other contributors so if you are interested shoot an email.
A little about Sway:
Sway is based off XULRunner from Mozilla and is a wrapper to allow Django (Python web framework) to run as a desktop application. The project was started as a need to have the application on an end user's desktop be exactly like the web app's UI. Why not use Google Gears or Adobe AIR? Because we didn't want to learn it and wanted an easy drop in so that the app could run anywhere, cross platform and all that.
What's going to happen:
Well, now that there is a simple proof-of-concept in place, application syncing and online/offline detection is planned for the future of Sway. If you have any ideas, please send an email!
You can send your questions/comments/concerns to: wcope(at)frenzylabs(dot)com
Hope you enjoy, and look forward to hearing from you!
